On the current day, October 13th, 2018, two lawyers were summoned to the City’s Public Prosecutor’s Office individually.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Mohammad Najafi, a lawyer and human rights activist who was released from Arak Central on a one billion Tomans bail on April 18th, 2018, and in a statement reported his summon to the first branch of interrogation Public Prosecutor and Revolutionary Court for “explanation”.
“Within five days, I have to introduce myself to see what the new charge is!”
Also, on Saturday, October 13th, 2018, Attorney Hussein Ahmadiniaz reported that in the summon order he was informed to appear before the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sanandaj Branch 4, otherwise the arrest order would be issued.
Ahmadiniaz told IRNA: “Today, I was summoned to the Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office and charged with publication of falsehood to disturb public opinion and If I do not go there, they will issue my warrant.”
Hussein Ahmadiniaz related his summons to the case of Ramin Hosseinpanahi, an executed political prisoner and his talk about Shin Abadi’s daughters.
The lawyer had already been summoned to Branch 4 of the Prosecutor’s General and Revolutionary Tribunal of Sanandaj once on July 6th, 2018, and hours after being charged in Branch 4 of Sanandaj Interrogation was released on 100 Million Tomans bail.
