Reza Shahabi, a labor’s right activist who was arrested last night along with several of the workers’ rights activists, were released today, December 11th, 2018.
The Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company confirmed the release of these activists.
Last night, Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi, members of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, were arrested by security forces along with Amir-Abbas Azarm-Vand, Raham Yeganeh, and Keyvan Mehdi.
On the morning of Tuesday, December 11th, 2018, after the transfer of these people to the Evin detention facility, the families of the detainees held a protest rally in front of the prison. A few hours after the gathering, all the detainees were released.
