Sirvan Ghorbani and Borhan Kamangar were arrested by Kamyaran security forces and taken to an unknown location after attending the funeral of Haidar Ghorbani’s funeral. Haidar Ghorbani was a political prisoner who was executed.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Sirvan Ghorbani and Borhan Kamangar, two residences of Kamyaran, who had attended the funeral of political prisoner Haidar Ghorbani, were arrested by security agents on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021.
According to the report, security forces detained the citizens in one of the streets of Kamyaran without a court order. No information is available on their whereabouts or the charges against them.
It is worth mentioning that after the execution of political prisoner Haidar Ghorbani, another citizen named Amanj Ghorbani and a prominent cleric named Mullah Mohammad Mirza Rahmani have been arrested for attending the funeral of this political prisoner.
