According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, two Kurdish clerics, Mullah Farooq Ahmadi and Mullah Abdul Qadir Qadri, were arrested by the security forces in Mahabad on the evening of Monday, April 3rd, 2023.
According to an informed source, the security forces have arrested these two clerics in front of the door of the “Daral-Islam” mosque in the “Mukharian” neighborhood of Mahabad without presenting a court order.
This informed source added: These two clerics were taken to an unknown place after being arrested by the security forces.
These two clerics are from the city of Sardasht.
