The death sentence of a prisoner named Mohammad Ebrahim Esfandiari, convicted of premeditated murder, has been carried out in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Mohammad Ebrahim Esfandiari, a resident of Mashhad, who had been sentenced to death by the judiciary four years ago on charges of premeditated murder, was executed on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Vakilabad Prison of this city.
The family’s efforts to obtain the consent of the victim’s family (to stop the execution) were unsuccessful.
