The political prisoners on hunger strike in Minab Bandar Abbas prison

Urgent action
According to the report of Campaign in Defense of Civil and political Prisoners, several prisoners of conscientious, are on their 15 days of hunger strike in protest against the deplorable condition of prisons of Minab and Bender Abbas in the south west of Iran.
Some reliable sources quoted to us that one of the prisoner’s physical conditions has been deteriorated due to his heavy hunger strike.
On November 10, 2013, Arjang Dawodi, the political prisoner in Bander Abbas Prison held hunger strike as a protest against the violation and the non-stop pressures on his cellmates.
Ali Moradi, a Kurdish political prisoner who has spent over ten years in jail began a hunger strike because of lack of medical aid for prisoners in Minab Prison.
In the recent days, Dervish Zandi, the Kurdish prisoner, who were arrested after being accused of having collaboration of Kurdish parties were exiled from Maku prison to Bandar lengeh Prison also joined the hunger strike of other prisoners.
The rest names of prisoners who are still on hunger strike as follow:
Afshin Sohrub Zadeh, Mohammad Hossien Rezaie, Kamal Sharifi and Hassan Javani and Karim Mousa Zadeh in Bander Abbas prison.
It is time to take collective action and condemn Islamic Republic of Iran firmly and loudly with faith that the world’s cries will be heard this time, and the activists will return to their families safe and sound. We urge your respectful organization to condemn and help to save the innocent activists whom only crime was defending their human rights.
