Increased Worries About the Situation of Three Kurdish Prisoners at Rajai Shahr Prison

The lack of information on the situation of three Kurdish political prisoners sentenced to death in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj has been a source of concern for their families and relatives.

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, since Wednesday, September 5th, 2018, there is no news Loghman and Zanyar Moradi situation as well as Ramin Hossein Panahi, three Kurdish political prisoners sentenced to death. The families of these prisoners are worried about their children’s condition.

Osman Moradi, Loghman Moradi’s father, told the Campaign Reporter, “We were contacted by the Rajai Shahr Prison and asked us to go to Rajai Shahr Prison to meet Zanyar Moradi and Loghman Moradi on Friday.”

Amjad Hussein Panahi, brother of Ramin Hussein Panahi, another prisoner sentenced to death in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, during a conversation with the campaign’s reporter said, “We do not have any news of Ramin’s status since Wednesday morning of September 5th, 2018.”

“The family and lawyers of Ramin’s family and lawyers, despite continuous follow up, have not obtained any news from our brother, and so far, no authorities or agencies have given them a clear answer. We are worried that Ramin will be secretly executed “.
