According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners; Mohammad Mahdavifar, a political activist, wrote in the Telegram: Narges Mansouri, one of the signatories of the 14-member statement on Khamenei’s resignation and transition from the Islamic Republic, has been arrested by Ministry of Intelligence forces.
Ms. Mansouri was previously detained by security forces in August 2019. She was sentenced by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran to six years in prison and two years band on political and social activity on charges of “conspiracy to act against national security” and “propaganda against the regime.”
