Three residents of Sabzevar have been arrested by the city’s security police.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Nahid Malvandi, a travel blogger, Sajad Poursakhavat, a former political prisoner, and Ali Pouyan Moghadam, a recently released political prisoner, were arrested by the city’s security police on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
These three citizens were arrested under the order of the Sabzevar prosecutor.
Nahid Malvandi was released after a few hours and was instructed to appear at the security agency on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Sajad Poursakhavat and Ali Pouyan Moghadam have previously been detained due to their activities.
