After several days, there is still no information on the Kurdish political activist, Sirran Aramesh, who was arrested by Sanandaj security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Thursday July 19th, 2018, ” Sirran Aramesh ” was arrested by security forces in the Sanandaj neighborhood 25 and was taken to an unknown location.
After several days of arrest, her relatives still have no information on her status or any information regarding the place of detention.
The security forces have always summoned and arrested civil activists with charges of cooperating with Kurdish parties, using propaganda against the regime and acting against national security, with the aim of suppressing Kurdish activists and creating terror in the region.
This is despite the fact that many detainees say that these allegations have no basis and that their confessions were forced by from security forces interrogators.
