Shirkoh Roushani was again transferred to the Ministry of Information in Sanandaj for interrogation and torture. A day after he met his family, he was again transferred to solitary confinement in Sanandaj. He has been in detention for more than three months and is still under torture for forced confessions.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, Shirkoh Roushani, a citizen from Marivan, who was detained by the Marivan Ministry of Intelligence since December 11th, 2022, one day after meeting his family in Marivan prison, was send to one of the security detention centers in Sanandaj.
According to a source close to the detainee’s family: Shirkoh’s family is in a distressed situation. The family of this detainee is worried that he will be charged with serious charges.
An informed source told our reporter: “Following the Shirkoh’s family check with the security agencies, they were told that if you do not inform and do not tell anyone, he will be released after Eid al-Fitr.”
According to this report, despite Roushani’s family repeatedly checking with the security institutions, they have not been able to receive any news about his condition.
He was arrested by Marivan security forces and was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Sanandaj for interrogation and forced confessions.
