The death sentence of a prisoner named Mohammad Amin Valinia, who was previously sentenced to self-retribution (execution) on the charge of “deliberate murder”, was executed in Khorram Abad Central Prison (Parsilon).
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, a prisoner named Mohammad Amin Valinia, 33 years old, son of Latif, from Noorabad city, Lorestan province, was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon) on early morning of Saturday May 27th, 2023.
A source close to the prisoner’s family said: “Mohammed Amin Valinia was arrested 10 years ago on charges of intentional murder.”
The execution of this prisoner has not been announced by the Iranian media or official sources until the moment of writing this news.
The lack of classification for intentional homicide in Iran causes any type of murder regardless of the severity and motivation of the accused to lead to the issuance of a death sentence.
