Ali Omidi, a lawyer, was summoned to Khorramabad Public and Revolutionary Office to be notified of the charges. He is going to be tried for the charge of propaganda activity against the regime.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, in recent days, Ali Omidi, a lawyer, a resident of Khorramabad, received a written notification and was summoned to the 10th branch of investigation in Khorramabad General and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office to be notified of the charges.
An informed source regarding this report said: “In the notice issued by Hamed Mirzaei Sharifi, the head of the Khorramabad General and Revolution Prosecutor’s Office, the charge assigned to Mr. Omidi in this case (propaganda activity against the regime). This lawyer must appear before the judicial to present a defense against the imputed charge on July 6th, 2023.”
It should be noted that Ali Omidi has faced legal proceedings while this attorney was one of the lawyers who represented of the detainees’ cases during the nationwide protests of 2022.
