Arian Kokhaei, a residence of Ilam, was arrested again by the security forces and transferred to the central prison of Ilam.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Arian Kokhaei, 23 years old from Ilam and one of the detainees of the “Women, Life, Freedom” nationwide protests, has been arrested again by the security forces on August 19th, 2023.
He was arrested and transferred to prison while the hearing on the charges of his previous case has not been held and there is no information about the reasons for his re-arrest.
He has previously been accused of “forming a criminal group, destruction and showoff to the force with firearms and disturbing public order” by the investigation of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Ilam Revolution.
In December 2022, in another case, this citizen was sentenced to a fine by the Ilam Criminal Court on the charge of “insulting the sacred”.
