Jamal Alizadeh, a civil activist from Piranshahr, was arrested and transferred to Naqdeh prison to serve his sentence. He was previously sentenced to 30 months in prison by the Revolutionary Court.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Jamal Alizadeh, a civil activist from Piranshahr, was arrested and sent to prison on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023. He was previously sentenced to 30 months in prison on the charge of “collaborating with the enemies of Maand”.
In the evening of Tuesday October 18th, 2022, security forces raided Jamal Alizadeh’s house and arrested him without presenting a court order.
Mr. Alizadeh was transferred to the detention center of Urmia Intelligence Department for interrogation and after the interrogation process was completed, he was transferred to Naqdeh prison.
On Sunday, February 12th, 2023, this citizen was temporarily released from Naqdeh prison by posting three billion tomans bail until the end of the proceedings.
