Tariq Rahimpour, a former political prisoner, was arrested and taken to an unknown location following an attack by 12 plainclothes security officers at his workplace in Sanandaj.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, 39-year-old Tariq Rahimpour, the son of Musa from Oihang village, a resident of Sanandaj, was arrested by the security forces and taken to an unknown location on Wednesday September 20th, 2023.
According to an informed source, 12 security officers severely assaulted and arrested this citizen without a court order at his workplace.
As of writing this report, there is no information about the arresting institution, the place of detention or the charges against this citizen.
Tariq Rahimpour has already had a history of arrest and conviction. He was tried and convicted for the charge of collaborating with one of the Kurdish parties against the regime on May 3rd, 2020.
