Fereshteh Sediq Sefat, a resident of Rasht, who was previously arrested by the security forces, was transferred to Lakan Prison in this city after the interrogation process.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the civil and child rights activist and facilitator of local communities was transferred to Lakan prison in Rasht after the interrogation process was completed.
An informed source said “Ms. Sediq Sefat is under arrest in Rasht’s Lakan prison. A bail of 300 million tomans has been set for her temporary release”.
According to this informed source, the prison authorities refuse to accept the personal belongings of this citizen.
On September 18th, 2023, Ms. Sediq Sefat was arrested by the security forces in her personal home.
